Metro HHW Facilities (Paint Disposal at Central & South)
Metro HHW Facilities (Paint Disposal at Central & South) is a municipal hazardous-waste program in Portland. They accept paint products such as latex paint, oil-based paint, and paint thinners. Cost: Free for households. Hours: HHW: Daily 9 AM - 4 PM. Walk-ins are welcome. Both Metro HHW facilities accept paint alongside other HHW. Good option if dropping off multiple categories at once. Note: MetroPaint (the paint reuse program) closed in late 2025 — paint is now managed through PaintCare and HHW facilities. Restrictions: Residential only. 35 gallons by container size max.
